In the worst of the Winter weather, we had installed the basement windows.  I would not recommend this to anyone else.  The flexible vinyl tabs did not flex (they snapped if handled improperly), and the caulking just did not work at all. 

The cellar window frames had to be redone from my first attempt - the placement of the window holes in the cement turned out to be off half a foot or so, so the beams didn't line up on my post properly.  This involved jacking the house up enough to rebuild the area.
