After a good storm on Saturday, I got a large gang over to help with the rafters.
They were all kind enough to take time out from Halloween activities to do the
heavy lifting.  It took a week and a half to build the rafters - that first one was
quite difficult - turned out I had the worst of the wood that I had selected for it.

In 6 hours, we had the frame done and nailed.  These are some of the best days
in building the house, when the big things go together, and the results are visible
for the neighborhood to talk over.  I've got to thank my family and friends one
more time for all their help, so THANK You.
