Almost all the visible wood in the house has at least 1 coat of polyurethane on it. Everything downstairs has 3 coats. What wasn't captured in these photos was my obsession with getting the lighter wood color to show. Most of the exposed wood had silvered somewhat, so I pushed my family and myself to sand all that surface, upstairs and down..
